Job Title: Project Coordinator - Retail Wintel Location(s): Chicago, IL (Remote) Summary: Seeking an IT Support/Desktop Support professional with experience in Windows client operating systems, desktop/laptop deployment, troubleshooting, and end-user support in a retail environment. The role involves configuring workstation network connectivity, supporting hardware/software issues, coordinating with store managers, documenting incidents, and assisting with device deployment and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot Windows client operating systems.
- Configure Ethernet and wireless connectivity including DNS, IPv4, and DHCP.
- Manage and support devices through Intune.
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Build, deploy, and support desktops and laptops.
- Administer system deployment software and new system rollouts.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and understand OS boot processes.
- Support LAN/WAN/VLAN networking and TCP/IP, UDP protocols.
- Provide wireless connectivity troubleshooting.
- Support iOS and Android devices.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware-related issues.
- Create reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Coordinate with store managers via Teams and phone.
- Conduct bridge calls during issue resolution.
- Write and maintain SOP documentation.
- Provide support in a retail environment.
- Troubleshoot and support network printers and TC52 scanner devices.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Intune administration/support.
- Desktop/laptop imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Networking fundamentals: LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP.
- Wireless troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android devices.
- Ticketing system documentation experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience working in retail IT support environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting network printers.
- Experience with TC52 scanner devices.
- Ability to work flexible EST and PST schedules.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
