Work Schedule
8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary. Flexible work hours and some telework days may be approved by the supervisor and the Division.
Primary Purpose of Position
The role is to provide admin support to faculty, staff, and students.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties

  • Purchasing, receiving, fund reconciliation, travel, and human resources activities.
  • Primary point of contact for key requests, room scheduling, work requests, supplies and equipment, mail distribution, greeting incoming guests, support for assigned faculty, which includes grant transactions and reconciliation, and department-funded student employment.
  • Assist/coordinate department events as needed and other projects at will.

  • Other duties as assigned


Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

  • Ability to learn student employment, travel, and purchasing processes, and assist faculty with following those procedures
  • Prior experience with state or grant budgets is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Banner or similar software preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, organize, and work as part of a team
