CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Transportation Project Manager to join our Bridge Team in Hartford, CT or Providence, RI. This is your opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects, partner with multidisciplinary teams, and lead the delivery of critical bridge and transportation improvements across the region.



What You'll Do:

    Manage bridge transportation projects from development of project proposals through completion, delivering safe, resilient, and cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, and schedule, and serve as a primary client contact
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors
  • Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations
  • Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management Plan
  • Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required; minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Rail experience preferred
  • CTDOT experience required
  • Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
  • Proven ability to manage negotiations, scope, reports, and schedule of technical tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project Schedule, and SharePoint
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $115,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
