Mail Clerk - Richmond, VA (Stony Point Fashion Park Area) Pay: $18/hr Status: Fulltime \| Location: Richmond, VA \| Onsite Position Overview The Mail Clerk supports daily mailroom operations for a busy office located near Stony Point Fashion Park. This role ensures accurate sorting, distribution, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail while providing dependable administrative support to internal teams. Key Responsibilities * Mail Processing - Sort, distribute, and route incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments. * Outgoing Shipments - Prepare outgoing mail, certified mail, and courier deliveries. * Package Management - Receive, log, and track packages using internal systems. * Office Support - Assist with filing, document handling, and general clerical tasks. * Customer Service - Provide friendly, timely support to employees and visitors. * Equipment Operation - Operate postage meters, scanners, and mailroom machinery. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * 1+ year of mailroom experience in a corporate setting * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs as needed * Comfortable working in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment * Basic computer proficiency (email, tracking systems, scanning) Work Environment * Onsite role near Stony Point Fashion Park * Standard business hours, Monday-Friday * Collaborative, supportive team environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA 23225. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
