JOB/BID ANNOUNCEMENT COMMUNITY RESOURCE NAVIGATOR Chicago Department of Public Health Number of Positions: 1 (additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $57,000.00/Year Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm CDT on 06/03/2026 This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Performs other related duties as assigned Location: 111 West Washington Street, Chicago, IL Days Monday - Friday (May include occasional Saturdays) Hours 8:30am - 4:30pm THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE Qualifications
Two (2) years of community or social service experience, OR * An Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, OR * Certification as a Community Healthcare Worker or Certified Recovery Support Specialist Selection Criteria This position requires applicants to complete an interview.
