Position Summary

Designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates application programs for functional business areas. Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, logical database design, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Consults with business analysts and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs. Modifies and configures applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document. Prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation.

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint$128,000 - $173,000. Thefinal decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Min: $ 128,000

Bay Area Max: $ 218,000

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and our Oakland, CA office approximately 1 - 2 days per week, or more, based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Enterprise UI/UX Strategy
  • Define and drive theenterprise UI/UX vision and strategyfor SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • EstablishUX governance frameworks, standards, and design systemsacross enterprise platforms.
  • Ensureconsistent user experience across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP applications, and external systems.
  • Lead UX roadmap planning aligned with digital transformation initiatives.

2. SAP Fiori Expertise

  • Design and implementSAP Fiori applications using SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
  • Work withSAP Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, and SAP BTPfor modern UX development.
  • Definerole-based Fiori Launchpad strategiesand user personas.
  • Optimize SAP applications formobile-first and responsive design.

3. User-Centered Design

  • Conductuser research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing.
  • Translate business requirements intointuitive UI workflows and interaction models.
  • Ensuresimplification of complex SAP business processesthrough UX redesign.

4. Cross-Platform Experience

  • Lead UX design across:
    • SAP S/4HANA
    • SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
    • SAP BTP Applications
    • Custom enterprise web applications
    • Mobile applications
  • Ensure seamless UX integration betweenSAP and external platforms.

5. Design System & Governance

  • Establish enterpriseUX standards, design libraries, and reusable components.
  • ImplementUX governance models for global SAP deployments.
  • Ensure adherence toaccessibility standards (WCAG), design consistency, and usability guidelines.

6. Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with:
    • SAP Functional teams
    • SAP Developers
    • Enterprise Architects
    • Business stakeholders
  • Guide development teams onFiori UX best practices.
  • LeadUX reviews and design quality assurance.

7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance UX using:
    • AI-driven UX personalization
    • Conversational interfaces
    • Intelligent enterprise applications
  • Evaluate emerging UX technologies for enterprise adoption.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 7 years experience in programming analysis
  • Experience in programming language, advanced
