Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Entarian is seeking a DWH Data Management and Program Analyst to provide data management, information management, reporting, and program coordination support for NOAA's Deepwater Horizon (DWH) Restoration Program. This position will support restoration planning, project tracking, annual reporting coordination, document management, and related information management activities associated with DWH restoration and monitoring efforts stemming from the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf.

The position will support the DWH Data Management Team and collaborate with NOAA staff, project managers, technical specialists, other governments' DWH trustees, and partner organizations to support data organization, reporting workflows, program tracking, and coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

    Support DWH data management, reporting, and information management activities associated with restoration planning and program operations.
  • Assist with project tracking, annual reporting coordination, document management, records organization, and maintenance of program information systems.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for collaboration platforms, document repositories, databases, reporting systems, and related information management tools. This includes application and database requirements definition, configuration change control methodology, testing, and requirements validation.
  • Support compilation, organization, review, quality control, and tracking of project, programmatic, budget, and planning information.
  • Coordinate with NOAA staff, project managers, technical specialists, contractors, co-trustees, and partner organizations to support communication, reporting workflows, and information exchange.
  • Assist with development of data management plans, workflow documentation, reporting guidance, meeting materials, tracking tools, and other program support products.
  • Support project and program scheduling, action item tracking, records management, and administrative coordination activities.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports summarizing activities, accomplishments, level of effort, and support provided during the reporting period.

Location: Remote work acceptable with potential for occasional travel to support meetings, workshops, trainings, conferences, and restoration-related activities.

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and up to four (4) years of professional experience supporting data management, information management, reporting, program coordination, or related analytical activities.
  • Demonstrated experience applying data management tools, processes, and organizational methods to support user information needs, operational workflows, and program decision-making activities.
  • Proficiency with standard business software and office technology, including email systems, electronic file management, calendaring, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience using Google Workspace applications and shared document management platforms.
  • Experience using collaboration and document management systems such as Microsoft SharePoint or similar shared information environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, review, analyze, and summarize information and prepare reports, tracking materials, and other supporting documentation.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, competing priorities, and concurrent deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively with program staff, technical personnel, stakeholders, and external partners.


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with biological sciences and techniques pertaining to marine and/or coastal ecology, ecological restoration, and/or familiarity with Natural Resources Damage Assessment (NRDA) process and requirements.
