Summary

A leading organization is seeking a Data Analyst & AI Specialist to support the development and implementation of internal data tools, dashboards, reporting solutions, and AI-enabled workflows. This role will focus on analyzing large datasets, building scalable reporting infrastructure, automating workflows, and delivering strategic insights that support data-driven decision making across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency. This individual should be comfortable working cross-functionally, solving complex problems, and quickly learning evolving tools and workflows in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop tools, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support data-driven decision making.
  • Build automated reporting and data visualization solutions based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and end-to-end reporting workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for predictive and diagnostic analytics.
  • Support data entry, data cleanup, and optimization efforts as needed.
  • Manage scripts, code repositories, and analytical assets using GitHub version control practices.
  • Design and maintain AI-enabled workflows and custom AI tools to automate reporting, data analysis, and insight generation.
  • Build and deploy AI agents that integrate with existing systems and automate routine analytical tasks.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools that improve team productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Create reusable prompts, lightweight automations, and workflow documentation for internal teams.
  • Train and support team members on AI workflows and responsible AI adoption practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, finance, and analytics stakeholders to improve systems and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in tools, platforms, or applications implementation roles.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing business processes within software tools and systems.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and reporting workflows.
  • Strong SQL and Python programming experience, including familiarity with analytical tools and packages such as pandas, numpy, and Jupyter notebooks.
  • Experience working with relational and cloud-based databases.
  • Experience with data lake platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with ETL and Reverse ETL processes and data cleanup methodologies.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Experience documenting data analysis processes and workflows for stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system or pipeline issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential data with discretion.
  • Working knowledge of Git and GitHub, including repository management, branching, commits, and pull requests.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools and large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled solutions for data analysis and workflow automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD workflows, or automation pipelines.
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of AI security, responsible AI usage, and data governance considerations.
  • Knowledge of financial data processes including purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Experience building AI assistants, reusable prompt libraries, or shared AI tools for teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Contract Details

  • 12-month contract assignment
  • Hybrid schedule
  • Location: Culver City, CA
  • Pay Rate: $85/hour
