Step into a pivotal role at the heart of Enbridge's largest solar operation, where your expertise as a Business Support Analyst will directly power the efficiency and impact of a leading renewable energy asset.

In this role, you will take ownership of critical financial and operational processes ensuring all OPEX, CAPEX, and utility invoices are accurately submitted, coded, and paid, while proactively resolving supply chain and AP issues across purchase orders, change orders, and invoicing. Leveraging your advanced Oracle experience, you will manage receipts, drive AFE lifecycle activities from entry to closure, and support precise budgeting, forecasting, and accruals.

Serving as the first point of contact for vendors, your strong interpersonal and communication skills will build trusted relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivering exceptional value to both the business and its customers. #joinourteamfield

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all invoices, including OPEX, CAPEX, and utility bills from submission and coding through to payment.

  • Resolve supply chain and accounts payable issues by reviewing and correcting purchase orders, change orders, and invoice discrepancies.

  • Record material receipts in Oracle, maintaining accuracy and alignment with inventory and financial records.

  • Manage the full AFE lifecycle in Oracle, including entry, securing approvals, tracking Plant Manager sign-offs, monitoring in-service dates, and supporting final closure.

  • Support monthly and annual OPEX and CAPEX budgeting and forecasting activities to enable effective financial planning.

  • Contribute to monthly accrual processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.

  • Assist with annual operations budget activities, including preparation, project setup, and account validation.

Who You Are:

  • A related university degree or technical diploma with limited experience or a combination of related certification and a minimum of five years of related experience.

  • A proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Highly independent, exercising sound judgment and exceptional attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Technically proficient with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), along with hands-on experience in Oracle and SAP; familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Outlook, and other enterprise systems.

  • An effective relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, serving confidently as the first point of contact for vendors and stakeholders.

  • A clear and confident communicator with proven verbal and written communication skills.

  • A skilled multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments and performs well under pressure, especially during critical periods like budget cycles.

  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented, consistently delivering value to both internal teams and external partners.

Preferred:

  • Familiar with Oracle ERP system

  • Experience working with communities and the public.

  • Familiarity with renewable energy power generation technologies is a strong plus.

Physical requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
