Job Summary: |
The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services in the Cosmetic Clinic such as injectables, fillers, lesion removals, laser treatments and scar revisions. This position requires the ability to handle and lift patients and operate required equipment. The position may also require a stationary position or movement for extended periods as required during the provision of services. This position requires frequent communication and must be able to exchange accurate information. The NP/PA may also be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids, and it is expected that the candidate will be appropriately knowledgeable regarding universal safety precautions. This position will be required to work at the CU Medicine Cosmetic Clinic located at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. |

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. PA Minimum Qualification: * Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant * Meets and maintains specific requirements of the Medical Review Board (Physician Assistant) * Ability to obtain prescriptive authority (DEA License) * At least 5 years' experience in cosmetic procedures Preferred Qualifications: * Previous academic experience * 8 years' experience in cosmetic procedures Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $33,000 to $40,800 for 0.3 FTE The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. |
