Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract-to-hire position with a Regional Health Insurance Provider located in Eagan, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $63 - $73 per hour

The Business Systems Analyst will support strategic enterprise SaaS and integration initiatives by partnering with business and IT teams to define, document, and manage requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to ensure objectives are clearly communicated and aligned. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills with experience in SaaS ecosystems, API initiatives, and cross-functional technology programs within complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, analyze, and maintain business and system requirements
  • Support SaaS application configuration activities, including workflow and operational process design
  • Partner with Solution Architecture, Development, QA, vendor, and business teams to support enterprise SaaS and integration initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to capture, assess, refine, and document business processes and operational workflows
  • Document and develop high-level business process flows, requirements documentation, and design artifacts for new business initiatives
  • Interact directly with development teams to provide functional requirements, technical specifications, and workflow clarification
  • Assist with API mapping, data flow analysis, file format analysis, and cross-system integration efforts
  • Support workflow automation and enterprise SaaS modernization initiatives across multiple business portfolios
  • Identify test criteria and assist with testing new functionality, enhancements, integrations, and workflow changes
  • Support workflow configuration and operational process alignment across enterprise business applications
  • Facilitate meetings and collaboration sessions with business stakeholders, technical teams, and SaaS vendors
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flows, requirements, reporting, dashboards, operational procedures, and integration artifacts
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards for business users
  • Ensure business requirements and workflow changes are clearly communicated and accessible for future enhancement efforts
  • Support Agile delivery teams, implementation activities, testing coordination, vendor coordination, and production support efforts
  • Assist with governance and operational alignment activities that may impact product enhancements, vendor upgrades, or implementation initiatives
  • Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Provide training and operational support to end users where applicable
  • Support healthcare interoperability and enterprise API initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience working within healthcare payer or enterprise healthcare environments
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and workflow-driven applications
  • Experience working across cross-functional business, vendor, and technical teams
  • Process mapping and workflow analysis experience
  • Experience documenting high-level business process flows, requirements, and design documentation
  • Experience supporting enterprise integrations, APIs, and cross-system initiatives
  • Experience supporting workflow configuration and operational process alignment
  • Data analysis, API mapping, and reporting experience
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across business, vendor, and technical teams
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, and workflow orchestration
  • Experience with SQL and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and enterprise business applications
  • AWS knowledge and familiarity with cloud terminology preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability concepts including EDI, FHIR, and HL7 standards
  • Minnesota-based candidates preferred

  • Experience supporting workflow automation and operational process optimization
  • Experience supporting healthcare interoperability and enterprise API initiatives
  • Experience working with vendor-hosted SaaS platforms and enterprise ecosystems
  • Exposure to metadata orchestration and enterprise integration concepts
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications in the healthcare sector
  • JavaScript exposure helpful
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise modernization programs

Pay range: $63 - $73 per hour
