About The Position | Major goals and objectives, and location requirements
As a key player in our Credit Card Marketing vertical, this role collaborates closely with the Vertical Digital Sales, Vertical Print Sales, Account Strategy, Content Strategy and Research Teams to support the pre-sale process and develop category strategies that drive revenue growth with top-tier advertising partners. You will work cross-functionally to create impactful marketing programs, partnering with internal teams to bring strategic ideas to life and deliver compelling opportunities grounded in our brands' most influential franchises and tentpoles.

About The Role: | Key responsibilities

  • Lead Proposal Process: Manage proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising partners in the Credit Card vertical
  • Vertical Strategy: Collaborate across the People Inc. portfolio to create sellable opportunities for advertisers that are grounded in our brand's most influential franchises and tentpoles
  • Brand Familiarization: Partner with People Inc. brands and vertical teams to build a deep understanding of high-value opportunities, key tentpoles, and strategic priorities to inform proposal development and sales support
  • Storytelling: Bring ideas to life through well-written and visually-appealing proposals that represent our brands, capabilities, and ideas flawlessly
  • Cross-Department Communication: Partner closely with Editorial, Content Strategy, Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure proposals and presentation effectively communicate our unique value proposition
  • Sales Partnership: Develop strong relationships with the Sales Teams to become experts on their business; provide support on client calls, as needed

About The Positions' Contributions: Weight % Accountabilities, Actions, and Expected Measurable Results
80% Lead and support the RFP and proactive proposal development process by partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Content and Account Strategy teams to develop strategic, client-ready marketing programs. Create compelling proposals and meeting materials, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine ideas and ensure alignment with client objectives and business goals.

20% Build and maintain a strong understanding of internal brand capabilities, tentpoles, and opportunities across the portfolio. Translate this knowledge into actionable insights that inform proposal development and strengthen the overall quality and relevance of client-facing materials.

The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree

Experience:
6-9 years relevant experience at a digital and/or print publisher, with a focus on pre-sales Marketing; background in Credit Card/Finance category is a plus

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Abilities:

  • Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Google Slides, Keynote and Powerpoint)
  • You're an excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
  • You have an understanding of the advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of digital, print and/or programmatic marketplace is required
  • You are a true self-starter - provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
