Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Administrator
SPVR for the Division of Access and Community Engagement.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in meeting the mission, goals, and objectives of the office.
- Provides strategic, analytical, and organizational support to the Vice Chancellor.
- Researches complex issues and makes recommendations regarding possible direction and/or resolution.
- Develops high-level planning documents, analyzes data, and tracks ongoing activities to support the creation of annual reports that highlight division and campus accomplishments related to access and community engagement.
- Manages multiple priorities and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Provides executive administrative support to the Vice Chancellor, including managing correspondence, taking notes, and organizing important and confidential files.
- Elaborates draft communications and presentations on behalf of the Division of Access and Community Engagement.
- Facilitates high-level committees for the office, including preparation and planning, correspondence with committee members, responding to inquiries, and follow-up as directed.
- Assists in the execution of special and campus initiatives related to access and community engagement.
- Manages daily operations on behalf of the Vice Chancellor as needed.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Five years of relevant experience, including at least two years of project management.

- Experience in higher education or a non-profit organization.
- Experience working at least 3 years in a fast-paced, high visibility executive office overseeing the implementation of campus level initiatives and providing executive support.
