The Director of Tech Operations position at Ceremony of Roses plays a critical role in the research, management and delivery of our technology systems initiatives. Working across Ceremony of Roses various affiliates and regions, the Director of Tech Operations' primary responsibility is the delivery of organization-wide technology tools. The role ensures that technology tools and platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and wellintegrated across the organization. Acting as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners, the Director of Technical Operations drives operational efficiency, oversees system performance and vendor relationships, and enables teams to work more effectively through welldesigned processes and technology.


What you'll do:

  • Own the delivery of technology tools and platforms that improve business performance and function. Lead the introduction and integration of various tech tools; ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget and deliver solutions for the business. Own the end-to-end delivery of key technology projects, including discovery and requirements gathering, configuration and customization, testing, rollout, and go-live.
  • Define and own the technology operations strategy so that it is aligned with overall business objectives. Translate business needs into clear and direct system strategies that add value to the business operation. Uncover opportunities where new or existing technology can improve scale, speed, and quality of client services.
  • Identify and address gaps and inefficiencies in process and systems to improve technology workflows. Map and improve operational processes that use or require technology to improve workflows, increase automation, and ensure that systems support cross-functional collaboration across internal and international groups.
  • Ensure Ceremony of Roses systems are compliant with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Partner with internal teams to ensure systems have thoughtful access controls and follow security best practices.
  • Act as the primary tech operations liaison for internal stakeholders and departments, as well as for external vendors, partners, and the wider Sony team. Represent Ceremony of Roses technology operations within the Sony Music organization.
  • Special Projects: Any other technology-adjacent tasks or projects as requested by senior leadership.



Who you are:

  • 5-10 years experience in a tech or operations role,
  • Proven excellence in system development and implementation
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and constantly changing workplace
  • Strong track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects at the same time
