JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Harrisburg invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Theatre to begin August 2026.

Job Duties
  • Teach 1-3 courses (3-6 credits; maximum of 9 credits) each semester to include Introduction to Theatre, and a variety of performance or technical theatre classes, based on qualifications, in any of the following: Acting, Directing, Voice, Movement/Stage Combat, Costume, Multimedia, and/or Stage Management. Teaching assignments may require teaching day or evening classes, as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of a master's degree, MFA in Theatre preferred. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired.
  • Prior college-level teaching experience preferred. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.

Salary Range:

Placement on the salary schedule is based on education and experience.
