Position Description The Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for designing, shaping, and guiding the cybersecurity architecture that protects mission-critical systems across specified USSF Mission System platforms. This role translates complex technical, operational, and regulatory requirements into secure, sustainable system designs that meet stringent DoW, JSIG, and RMF standards. The Cybersecurity Architect ensures security principles are embedded throughout the system lifecycle from conceptual design through deployment and sustainment. The architect collaborates with ISSDs, Systems Security Analysts, Vulnerability Assessment Analysts, system owners, and mission partners to develop secure architectures, validate security controls, and advise on risk- informed engineering decisions. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's or equivilent experience plus 3+ years of specific experience supporting DoW Cyber/ Information Systems Security Qualifications Desired: * MS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree Required Certifications: See required qualifications Salary Range
