Johns Hopkins Medicine operates six academic and community hospitals, four health care and surgery centers, more than six ambulatory surgery centers and has more than 2.8 million outpatient encounters per year. As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist (NPDS), you would be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and activities in support of our Nurse Residency Program, which is accredited through ANCC. This includes providing each scheduled residency cohort with in-person educational, professional, emotional, and didactic support, mentorship, and resources to our new graduate nurses through their first year with Johns Hopkins Hospital and Bayview Medical Center. Ensuring we are maintaining and optimizing our ANCC program accreditation is another requirement of this nursing role.

Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/visit - Maximum 74.34/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
