Merchandiser - Servicing Fresno and Madera
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule - Wednesday -Sunday, 6am-230pm

Days Off: Monday and Tuesday

Position Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for servicing customer accounts in a safe, productive, and professional manner by ensuring products are properly stocked, displayed, and rotated within large and small format retail locations. This role also supports sales efforts by building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to increase product presence within accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Inventory Management



  • Ensure products are properly rotated and maintained according to company standards to minimize expired or damaged inventory
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully functional company equipment and displays
  • Execute merchandising processes, promotional displays, and in-store standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate out-of-stock items, damaged product, and display opportunities to the appropriate sales representative or manager
  • Evaluate competitor activity, including new product launches and pricing changes, and report findings to management


Customer Service & Account Support



  • Build and maintain professional relationships with store managers and account contacts
  • Support sales initiatives by assisting with promotional programs and large display setups
  • Identify opportunities to increase product visibility and improve account performance
  • Represent the company brand professionally during all customer interactions


Compliance & Operational Support



  • Maintain records and documentation required by company policy and applicable regulations
  • Adhere to company standards, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members across departments and share best practices
  • Maintain a professional appearance and responsible driving practices while working in the field


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable vehicle available for work-related travel with required insurance coverage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Comfortable using smartphone technology and mobile applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred
  • Additional language skills are a plus


Physical Requirements



  • Frequently walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
  • Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and retail environments
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive movement and extended periods of physical activity
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment


Work Environment



  • Regular exposure to retail store environments, stockrooms, and outdoor conditions
  • Moderate noise levels may be present during daily operations
  • Position requires frequent local travel between customer accounts
