Details:
We're looking for a hands-on GRC Automation Consultant to automate compliance workflows, close data governance gaps, and build monitoring dashboards across a large-scale, multi-team data ecosystem (You'll work at the intersection of data governance, compliance engineering, and AI-driven automation - turning manual, curator-heavy processes into scalable, policy-driven pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement GRC workflows and automation pipelines

  • Build and maintain a real-time governance and compliance tracking dashboard

  • Manage curator notification and escalation workflows via Slack

  • Support data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management processes

  • Validate and track data using SQL across distributed/columnar systems


Required Skills:

  • GRC - Compliance analyst - 5 Years of experience

  • Have Knowledge of Python or JavaScript skills

  • REST API integration experience

  • Have Knowledge of SQL and large-scale/columnar data systems

  • Data governance expertise (lineage, metadata, policies, controls)

  • GDPR and/or DMA compliance knowledge

  • AI/ML experience for data classification and tagging

  • Workflow automation tools (Slack Workflow Builder, Zapier, or similar)

  • Slack API experience (bots/workflows)

  • Dashboard development for compliance/governance tracking

  • Strong communicator - able to drive accountability across distributed teams


Preferred Skills:


  • Familiarity with data catalog platforms

  • Experience with data access management systems and approval chain workflows

  • Background in distributed storage (HDFS, object storage)

  • Prior work in large-scale, multi-team governance programs
