Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate.

The Adult ADHD Program is an integral part of the Department of Psychiatry at New York Langone Health. Our goals are to improve diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and to extend what is known about ADHD root causes and physiology. Underlying the program is the conviction that clinical care, training and research are all enhanced where they coexist in a mutually supportive environment and that the quality of each component reflects the quality of the others. The Research Data Associate (per diem) will work collaboratively with the Sr. Research Coordinator and Principal Investigator on studies that can lead to better diagnosis and treatment of those with ADHD. The Research Data Associate will assist with day-to-day study operations and participant activities. The Research Data Associate will perform all study tasks including recruit participants, conduct study visits, collect data and complete participant follow-up visits. The candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of the research team.

Job Responsibilities:

Participant Recruitment: Recruit and screen patients for eligibility, completing necessary questionnaires, assessments and paperwork. Maintain patient confidentiality.

Research Visits: Conduct participant study visits, including scheduling, coordination with study doctors, and completion of assessments.

Participant Tracking: Track participant flow through the study and update tracking logs in an accurate and timely manner. Contact participants to schedule them for study visits and send retention letters as needed.

Data Collection & Integrity: Review entered data; resolve data queries, and obtain missing information. Document all data accurately and according to protocol.

Site Relationship: Establish and maintain positive relationships with site staff and participants.

Demonstrate effective and professional communication.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education or a related field. Prior experience in a health care settings and/or research level interviews
Prior patient education experience

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $29.55 - $29.56 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
