Title: Process Mapping Engineer
Location: On-Site in Sterling Heights, MI Industry: Military Vehicle Production Pay/Duration: 53.10 Per hour / 12 months contract to hire Key Skills: Scrum / Agile Management / Metrics / Engineering Project Management / Process Gap Identification / Process Flow Optimization / Prime BPM / Kaizen * Map business processes both within and across multiple cross functional departments including engineering, finance, manufacturing and supply chain. * Creating process maps and flowcharts to help visualize and understand the process including activities, roles and responsibilities, data and tool/software usage. * Collaborating with various business units, stakeholders, and team members to gather process information and requirements * Assessing existing business processes and drive process improvements by identifying areas for waste, redundancy or lack of clarification. * Designing efficient and effective business processes that meet the business needs and objectives * Assist in the successful deployment of the process changes to the business including communication, training and after deployment feedback. * Training and guiding staff members on new processes and procedures * Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of new processes and making adjustments as necessary * Maintain process models in a configuration control environment. * Act as a subject matter expert in helping to move business from a digital process environment to digitalizing all of business processes together within a enterprise-wide integrated state. * Ensuring all business processes comply with industry regulations and standards * Our ideal candidates are familiar with business process modeling techniques and have hands-on experience with process improvement projects. * Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role * Experience with business process mapping and modeling * Knowledge of business process management principles and best practices * Proven experience mapping process to roles and responsibilities to tools to data flow * Knowledge of metrics related to Agile and use of them to report back to team members at all levels About Us Advantage Technical connects top- talent in technology, engineering, and technical fields with forward-looking companies.
