Manufacturing Planner I

DeZURIK is seeking a Planner I to join our operations team in Houston and play a key role in keeping production moving and customer commitments on track. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career planning professional who enjoys problem-solving, working across teams, and balancing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll support production planning and scheduling activities that drive on-time delivery and inventory performance. You'll maintain MRP accuracy, analyze demand and inventory trends, and help ensure the right materials and components are available at the right time. You'll also schedule sales orders, release production orders, and work closely with procurement and shop-floor teams to resolve shortages and keep operations running smoothly.

A big part of this role is ownership-monitoring backlog, expediting orders, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and adjusting plans as priorities shift. You'll collaborate across departments to solve problems, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Excel
• Experience with MRP systems; NetSuite is a plus

• Two years of manufacturing planning experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

DeZURIK offers a competitive base salary in the $58,154-$72,693 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
