Position Overview:Under limited supervision, analyze requisite data from various internal and external sources to conclude and present data-driven insights influential to business decisions. Recommend actions to accelerate desired business results and create dashboards for recurrent monitoring of key metrics. Serve as liaison between Business Analytics team and cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure best use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Collect, organize, and interpret requisite data from various internal and external sources. Perform macro and micro analysis and build ad-hoc reporting and dashboards using advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Decipher relevant business insights in response to cross-departmental requests. Leverage investigative skills in collection and interpretation of data to uncover newly considered possibilities and provide innovative recommendations for action and additional exploration.
  • Identify and present key deliverables and recommended actions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Utilize effective written and verbal communication to translate complex analysis into actionable information.
  • Create and distribute powerful data visualizations to improve accessibility to key metrics or business trends. Construct to allow for recurrent use and monitoring of results that are easily consumable for stakeholders.
  • Serve as liaison between Business Analytics and cross-departmental stakeholders to scope project requirements, define deliverables, estimate level of effort and document expected business value. Utilize business and technical knowledge to identify opportunities to leverage existing datasets, visualizations, or other tool sets to maximize efficiency.
  • Provide insight on backlog, prioritization, and additional opportunities to streamline processes or increase expected business value.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for company-wide specialty analysts. Consult, educate and share best practice for data-sourcing, tool capabilities, and optimizing results.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in processes, data presentation, and business documentation.



Minimum Education and Experience: Associates degree or equivalent work experience and 1 year of related analytics experience or relative coursework in analytics.

Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education certificates in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or Math and 3+ years of related analytics experience or relative coursework in analytics.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Azure/SQL MS, Power BI is required. Snowflake/cloud database and DSML tools is desired. Project management utilizing Jira is desired. Application of descriptive and diagnostic analysis on both quantitative and qualitative data. Utilization of statistical methods including but not limited to standard deviation, mean, and hypothesis testing. Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset. Demonstration of analytical curiosity and use of data to produce business insights and recommendations for strategic decision making. Effective interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal, and cross-departmental collaboration. Must be organized, able to identify and manage multiple priorities, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
