Recruiting Assistant- Temporary (6-12 months)

The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team members with the recruitment of open positions and the onboarding of new team members. This position is designed as a project position with a duration of 6-12 months.


Description of Essential Duties:



Talent Acquisition & Candidate Management



  • Source and mine resumes across multiple platforms to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Generate and maintain a qualified candidate pool for open requisitions.
  • Screen candidates against job descriptions and conduct initial phone screens to assess fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate inperson interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage candidate dispositioning and workflow tracking within Ceridian.



Recruitment Marketing



  • Support social media recruitment campaigns to attract talent and increase brand visibility.



HR & Administrative Support



  • Provide administrative support for onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare and organize onboarding materials, including binders, paperwork, and compliance documents.
  • Coordinate preemployment requirements such as background checks and drug screenings.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and employee documentation.
  • Assist with general HR department needs and crossfunctional support.



Systems & Process Management



  • Utilize onboarding and offboarding systems to ensure smooth employee transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and HR standards.

Qualification Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.)




  • Education equivalent to an Associate's Degree.
  • Prior experience in HR, recruiting support, or administrative support preferred but not required.
  • Must be reliable, self-starter, and possess natural curiosity.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with a diverse group of people and external candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred (Ceridian experience a plus).
