JOB PURPOSE:



The Lead Clinician provides a combination of program oversight, clinical supervision, and direct service provision. This position will deliver care virtually and in person and provide expert clinical support to other providers and training clinicians. They will collaboratively support the Endeavors Wellness Model with the Community Behavioral Health Services Leadership Team. The Lead Clinician will ensure that clinical providers are providing treatment in compliance with established protocols and policy. The Lead Clinician will have training and experience in treating serious mental illness and/or substance abuse recovery, with demonstrated proficient in delivering evidence-based care to diverse populations.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Provide direct services and complete intake assessments as needed. Complete screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, EHR documentation, and progress notes. Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy with a focus on evidence-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed care aligned with the Endeavors Wellness Model.





  • Meet regularly with clinical providers to staff caseloads, review high-risk clients, and stay informed of urgent client needs. Keep clinical providers updated on program information. Work with leadership to establish training and development plans for clinical staff. Provide quality assurance and regulatory compliance review of client files. Support ongoing program evaluation and make recommendations to CBHS Leadership for continuous growth and quality improvement. Prepare and submit monthly program reports, including KPI, outcome, and other reports as appropriate.





  • Collaborate and coordinate with other providers and interns to support client care as needed.





  • Attend administrative meetings with Behavioral Health Leadership and Endeavors Leadership as scheduled.





  • Perform other duties as required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:



EDUCATION: Equivalent to a master's degree in psychology, social work, professional counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.



EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of experience in a clinical setting required; at least two years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with adults, couples, and families is required, with experience working with children and adolescents preferred. Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnoses is required. Clinical experience with trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, is required. Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions is preferred. Experience with evidence-based modalities (e.g., EMDR, CPT, PE, or similar) is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be highly organized and detail oriented.



ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.



LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. Have a current independent license to practice counseling. LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required. Board approved Supervisor status preferred (LPC-S, LCSW-S, LMFT-S)



VEHICLE: Must have reliable transportation.



OTHER: Must be willing to travel to various locations as needed to support program operations. Work schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends based on program needs.



WORK LOCATION: Work is performed in-office (in-person) as a standard expectation. Any alternative work arrangement, including hybrid or remote work, may be considered only on a case-by-case basis, considering program needs, job responsibilities, performance, and alignment with organizational priorities, and requires leadership approval. Any approved remote work requires a private, secure home office. This position can work from our Wellness Center in El Paso or our Wellness Center in San Antonio.
