Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Pediatrics for the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The primary purpose of the research assistant position is to support research that focuses on study of the natural history of rare disorders.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assisting in the development of Red Cap based survey for DOCK3 and DEAF1 associated disorders.
- Recruiting potential participants and obtaining informed consent in clinical and community settings.
- Updating the list of publications associated with these disorders.
- Assisting with data collection, basic analysis and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts with supervision.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Medical Student 1st or 2nd year with at least one year of experience in developing Red Cap-based surveys.
