Position Summary
The Research Summer Intern will work on system development projects with a focus on multi-agent systems and software infrastructure supporting neuroimaging research. The intern will contribute to designing, implementing, and testing multi-agent system components used in data processing and computational workflows. This role involves close collaboration with the research team to support scalable, well-documented software solutions. All work will be conducted using de-identified neuroimaging data only.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
* Current undergraduate rising senior seeking a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Prior hands-on experience with software development or neuroimage data processing/processing pipelines with familiarity with Python or other programming languages used in system development.
* Strong background in multi-agent system development or distributed systems.
* Experience with large-scale data processing, scientific computing, or research-oriented software development.
* Ability to work independently to document code clearly.
