Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Systems Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD.

NEC serves as the primary enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of War. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering Enterprise Center, it applies current best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into effective technical specifications and solutions.

This is a full-time opportunity onsite on Fort Meade.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    Collaborating with information engineers to establish system information requirements for NC3 enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.

  • Incorporating reference models and profiles of standards into specifications for Information Management solutions.

  • Collaborating with the Configuration Management team to ensure requirements are incorporated into process workflows. Coordinating with the NC3 community to ensure configurations are represented accurately in all documentation.

  • Supporting the change process by reviewing Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Operational Certification Packages (OCP), and other associated artifacts so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documentation.



Qualifications

Minimum Experience

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have an active TS w/SCI eligibility
Education: BS or BA in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent, The Open Group Framework (TOGAF) certification, or the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) certification.
Years of experience: 5 Years experience
  • Establishing system information requirements
  • Designing architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support requirements
  • Providing for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Experience:

  • Experience supporting USSTRATCOM weapon systems and/or capabilities desired

Pay Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $162,000.00 /Yr.
