Production Support Electrical Engineer - P2 - 2nd shift Location:Tucson, AZ (onsite) Job ID: #72546 Pay Range: $60-73 INTERIM SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO START, US CITIZEN CANDIDATES ONLY. SEEKING ALL SHIFTS. This role is for 2nd shift - 3pm to 12am. Join the Electrical Engineering team supporting production to resolve issues and keep the hardware builds moving forward. This will regularly include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshooting and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way. Responsibilities: * Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions * Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards * Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools * Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures * Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments * Change documentation preparation and presentation * Hardware troubleshooting * Own and manage an issue project to completion * Solve problems quickly and correctly * Communicate effectively across multiple teams * Take ownership to see a task to completion in a timely manner Required Qualifications: * 3 to 5 years of experience * BSEE or equivalent experience required * Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems * Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc. * Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs. * Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: * Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware * Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices * Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains * Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies * Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
