TITLE: PackerDumper-2nd Shift

LOCATION: OnsiteinOswego, IL
SHIFT & HOURS: Monday Through Thursday 5:30pm-4:00am

Hiring Hourly Rate: $21.36/Hr.(3rd Shift Differential = $2.00/hr.)

Custom Culinary, a subsidiary ofGriffith Foods,is hiring aPackerDumperto join our Production Team.The PackerDumperis responsible forthe safe operation of the set-up, operation, adjustment, and clean-up of packaging equipment toensure product is packed, labeled & palletized.

As a PackerDumperyour responsibilities will include:

• Pack and label products accurately and efficiently.

• Inspect items and packaging materials for damage or defects.

• Dumps product into hopper for filling

• Cleans and washes line and equipment, and cleans work area and equipment at end of shift

• Adherence to all department procedures and GMP's,includingfollowingprecise instructions.

• May manually pack units into cartons; affix label carton; stack cartons onto pallets;operatora forklift asrequired

The PackerDumperposition may be right for you if you:

• Inspects and cleans work area prior to beginning operation and at shift end

• Inspects and adjusts equipment prior to beginning operation

• Ability toworksafelyaroundPackaging equipment while consistently producing a quality product and adhering to company policies.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Abilitytoregularly lift and/or carry up to50poundsthroughout the shift

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, including the ability to read andcomprehendinstructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; and the ability to communicate with individuals and small groups.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Working knowledge or the ability to gain knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and RedZone software.

• Working overtime as needed throughout the week, up to and including Saturday work.

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods during the shift

• Comfortable working with and around allergens andcleaningchemicals

• Must be able to work onsite inOswegolocation

Candidates must currently be at least 18 years of age ANDpossessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What will set you apart:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 3monthsexperience and/or training in a USDA regulated manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with food safety requirements.

PhysicalRequirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyrequired to sit,standand walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to50pounds. Safely navigate stairs and ladders

Environmental Concerns:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed towet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection isrequiredin designated areas. Dust and odor present inenvironment.
