The Students Training in Academia, Health and Research (STAHR) Partnership Project is a grant-funded collaboration between the UMKC Schools of Dentistry, Medicine and Pharmacy and the UMKC Institute of Human Development. The goal of the program is to increase the number of students from educationally and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are prepared to enter, persist in, and graduate from a health professional degree program at UMKC. STAHR achieves this goal through structured pipeline programs focused on providing health education, academic preparation, professional development, career planning, and mentorship to its participants. Our programs support pre-health high school and college students and current UMKC health professional students. This position will serve as a member of the grant leadership team which includes the STAHR Admin Team and representatives from the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Institute of Human Development. This position will report to the Program Director. Responsibilities
Position includes limited travel, some weekend and evening work. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87 - $21.00 per hour Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
