Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Department in executing day-to-day marketing operations, promotions, special events, influencer and media arrangements, collateral management, and administrative projects.

In this role, the Marketing Coordinator also helps shape and communicate the resort's brand identity across a 40-acre beachfront property, reinforcing its position as a premier destination where guests come to experience the ultimate state of relaxation. Through thoughtfully executed campaigns, creative storytelling, and on-property marketing touchpoints, the Marketing Coordinator supports the message that guests arrive knowing they can leave stress behind and simply "Just Let Go."

This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is eager to contribute to creative marketing initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.



Responsibilities

  • Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Detail oriented, organized, mindful of deadlines and eager to learn new systems.
  • Project trafficking in Teams. Oversee routine collateral job requests.
  • Purchase Order requests and Invoice processing.
  • Confirm arrangements for visiting influencers, and media representatives.
  • Assist with social content gathering and posting.
  • Liaison with the activities manager to update the recreation calendar.
  • Assist in holiday and special event checklists and track tasks through execution.
  • Coordinate installations and placement of marketing collateral and onsite property signage.
  • Hands-on assistance gathering property information.
  • Ordering of office supplies.
  • Other duties, as required, related to marketing systems, reporting or hotel operations.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of progressive experience in hospitality, marketing, or a related field required
  • At least two years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or graphic design tools is a plus
  • Experience working within internet-based systems and intranet environments preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced resort environment
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to exceptional guest service
