The laboratory of Dr. Anthony Pedley is seeking a full-time Post-Baccalaureate Research Intern. The Research Intern will support lab operations and perform experiments under general and direct supervision. This position offers the opportunity to develop proficiency with advanced techniques in the structural and functional analysis of metabolic enzymes and their associated complexes. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous work published or presented surrounding metabolic control mechanisms.
- Interest in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering.
Desirable Qualifications
- Two years of experience working in a molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry laboratory is strongly valued.
- Working proficiency with the following:
* General cell culture and sterile techniques * Standard molecular techniques, including PCR, plasmid purification, bacterial transformation, and gelelectrophoresis * Protein expression and purification |
