Description

Markon is seeking a Project Analyst to support the Shipping Containers team within Reactor Servicing for the Naval Nuclear Program. This role offers the opportunity to support complex hardware and process development projects while contributing to the continued enhancement of project management infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering, business, IT, and project management teams to support planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and project performance tracking for mission-critical initiatives.



Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain schedules for hardware and process development projects
  • Work directly with line management to address project and operational challenges
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
  • Assist with resource planning, procurement planning, and budget performance tracking
  • Coordinate and integrate activities across project teams and stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and assist in establishing project priorities
  • Develop and maintain project metrics and tracking measures
  • Contribute to enhancements in project management infrastructure, tools, and techniques
  • Support technical writing, reporting, and documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with Business Professionals, IT support, Project Managers, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management, or related technical field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with project planning and estimating
  • Technical writing and reporting skills
  • Ability to support multiple projects and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
Desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software
  • Experience managing engineering projects and developing project schedules
  • Database development and management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting complex technical or government programs preferred

Pay Scale:

  • 5-9 years of experience - $120,000-$127,000
  • 10+ years of experience - $128,000-$145,000


Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
