Responsibilities

Baker

An opportunity exists on our highly accomplished culinary team. The selected candidate will have responsibility for implementing all elements of daily bakery and pastry production providing a high quality, cost effective in-house product, which complements the menus and adds value to the dining services operation.


Qualifications

Qualified applicants are required to possess 2 years baking experience in full service bakery, restaurant, hotel, store, etc. with experience in healthy and wellness cooking i.e. fat free, sugar free, low sodium. Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.

Additional requirements include:

*Basic working knowledge of all baking and pastry products, as well as, production methods for the preparation of all yeast dough and non-yeast dough
*Ability to operate all forms of baking equipment and produce commercial production recipes, as provided
*Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to include recipe conversions, food cost and inventories
*Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system


Pay Range

USD $23.50 - USD $28.20 /Hr.
