Overview This role supports park operations by ensuring that facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and functional for both visitors and staff. Responsibilities
- Lead and train maintenance staff while coordinating daily work activities and operational priorities.
- Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, debris removal and maintaining trails and public use areas.
- Inspect Park grounds and facilities daily to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and overall appearance issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and facilities, and coordinate with contracted vendors for larger or specialized repairs. - Perform janitorial tasks, including cleaning restrooms and facilities, restocking supplies, and removing trash.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools, equipment, and vehicles needed for park maintenance.
- Maintain work orders in NexGen software and basic records related to maintenance activities, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with visitors to provide basic customer service and assist with park operations as needed
Competencies (KSA's)
- Knowledge of principles, equipment, and tools involved in fire prevention, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, and cleaning work
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects and bend, stretch, twist, or reach with ones body, arms, and/or legs

- Ability to communicate information in writing and speaking so others will understand
