Qualifications

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's
degree.

NSQs:
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Employees must obtain and maintain their Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) license within 1 year of
employment.

Employees must obtain and maintain their Certified Interpretive Guide (GIG) certificate within 1
year of employment.

Overview

Prepare and deliver high-quality interpretive and educational

programs, including guided tours, school programs, workshops, and outreach aligned with the park's cultural and historical themes

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and maintain site-specific interpretive

    content, exhibits, and program materials that reflect best practices and culturally informed interpretation.

  • Coordinate program schedules and support staff and volunteers in effective program delivery.
  • Support cultural and natural resource management activities, including data collection, stewardship efforts, and volunteer coordination.
  • Assist with park operations by providing customer service and supporting visitor services and program logistics.
  • Provide emergency medical response within scope of certification and assist with public safety efforts
