Policy Coordinator (Remote) Office of Medicaid Innovation Sponsorship for Work authorization is not available for this position Job SummaryThe Medicaid Policy Coordinator operates as part of the OMI Operations Team and is responsible for collaborating with HFS, OMI, and the various parts of the University to identify current or impending problems, create solutions, and evaluate other proposed solutions required to ensure the success of OMI projects, goals, and objectives. The Medicaid Policy Coordinator helps plan, develop, and implement administrative and clinical healthcare initiatives and projects pursuant to the Interagency Agreement (IA) between the University and HFS. Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is Illinois' single state Medicaid agency and the state organization responsible for administering Illinois' Medical Assistance and Child Support programs. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5002 - Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible. The budgeted salary range for the position is $70,000 to $80,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
