About the Job

This position is for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our multi-disciplinary research team and contribute advanced technical expertise in analytical chemistry, with a specific focus on high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) applied to complex biological systems.

This role centers on the development and application of DNA adductomics workflows to investigate molecular signatures of exposure, applied to specific models developed by our industry partners. This position will focus on the full lifecycle of high-impact research, from initial experimental design and analysis to the final dissemination of results. This job will include key responsibilities as listed below.

  • Experimental Leadership: Design and execute sophisticated analytical experiments, including the preparation and enrichment of biological samples for trace-level analysis.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple research studies in parallel, ensuring timely progression and adherence to project milestones.
  • HRMS Analysis: Utilize High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry to perform qualitative and quantitative DNA adductomics analysis.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and mentor junior team members, technicians, and students contributing to experimental workflows.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for collaborators. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to present findings at meetings and conferences and lead the writing of technical reports and, when allowed by the industry partner, high-impact manuscripts.
  • Quality Excellence: Leverage previous experience to maintain the highest levels of quality control and data integrity across all laboratory operations.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., DDS, DVM, JD, MD or equivalent is required
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $61,500 - $66,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
