About the Job

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

  • Follow scheduled work hours as determined by your supervisor to draft manuscript for a submission to scientific journal for publication.
  • Assist supervisor and other lab members with their lab work, if/when necessary to complete the manuscript preparation.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to fellow (junior) researchers and contribute to a positive and productive research environment.
  • Attend all lab meetings and any required training sessions scheduled by the supervisor.
  • Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy.
  • Whenever possible and necessary, assist with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment in working order, cell-culture media preparation, cleaning/sterilizing lab supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in laboratory research and manuscript preparation
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $25.00/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
