The Data Analyst will design and implement robust business intelligence solutions, including ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and queries that drive data-driven decisions. This person will serve as a subject matter expert on data modeling, visualization, and analytics, working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to enhance reporting, data quality, and create automation using AI and Machine Learning in strategic opportunities. This position will play a crucial role in adapting new technologies and collaborating in decisions to innovate FedEx Office reporting mechanisms and represent FedEx third party retail needs to enhance reporting that grows and improves network performance.

  • Lead cross-functional analytics projects from planning to execution
  • Translate business needs into data requirements with project plans
  • Lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and business units to drive alignment and meet project deadlines
  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for analytics initiatives
  • Communicate data insights to stakeholders that are actionable to drive business decisions, change management and results
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards are met
  • Resolve problems and makes recommendations related to complex and interrelated matters and projects
  • Provide oversight and work with IT partners to optimize functionality, controls, and enhancements for a business analytics platform
  • All other duties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or related business discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics or data project or program management, or related advanced degree
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data modeling
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Experience leading complex initiatives in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of the broad application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in marketing disciplines, project management and information analysis. Strong human relations and communication/presentation skills.
  • Advanced organizational, quantitative and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Experience working with development teams on enhancements, defect prioritization, and roadmap for an IT system

  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position
