As a Project Manager I within our Renewables Operations, organization, supporting construction execution and post-construction handover, you will guide solar and battery storage projects from development through construction closeout across North America. Your work directly accelerates the growth of clean energy infrastructure and delivers lasting value to our clients and communities.

What You'll Do



  • Manage multiple renewable energy projects simultaneously, guiding solar and battery storage projects from development through construction closeout across North America while ensuring compliance with all contractual and legal requirements
  • Own project schedules and budgets, tracking spend and milestones against approved baselines and flagging variances before handover to the construction management team
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and labor, partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and proposals across the full project scope
  • Deliver clear, actionable project updates to clients and stakeholders, including schedule, cost, and risk reporting that supports informed decision making
  • Collaborate with the engineer of record to secure permits, negotiate interconnection agreements, and finalize construction and staging drawings
  • Manage contractor relationships and compliance, including master service agreements, required health and safety registrations, and ethical standards
  • Coordinate General Contractor Requests for Proposals and enforce strict health and safety standards on every project site, ensuring safe execution and regulatory compliance



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of two years of project management, engineering, or construction experience in the renewable energy industry (solar PV or battery energy storage)
  • Solid understanding of project management principles including contract review, dispute resolution, scope development, and technical specifications
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Procore
  • OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certification, plus First Aid, CPR, and AED credentials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong time management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, collaborative mindset



Additional Details



  • This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy based in the Broomfield, CO office
  • This role requires attendance at a worksiteon an as needed basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record, to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Must be physically able to conduct site visits and walk renewable energy sites for extended periods of time in hot or cold weather conditions to complete job assignments



Compensation

Salary Range: $37.06 - $56.83 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
