Job Summary

The FP&A Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities with a strong focus on data validation and ERP system integration. This role plays a key part in managing large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting financial forecasting and budgeting processes. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and technical teams, to deliver data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on analytical role requiring strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform data validation, mapping, and reconciliation to support ERP system implementation
  • Work with large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial systems
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operating expenses
  • Build and maintain financial models to support planning and resource allocation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support data integration and reporting needs
  • Support migration of financial data between systems, including preparation and validation
  • Analyze financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for management using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Provide support on ad hoc financial analysis and team initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members and provide backup support as needed


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or a related analytical role (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for financial reporting and presentations
  • Experience working with large datasets in analytical environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently after initial guidance
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required


Work Experience



  • 1-3 years of relevant FP&A, finance, or analytical experience required
  • Experience with ERP systems, data mapping, or system implementations preferred
  • Experience with Cognos TM1 or Oracle Financials preferred
