Responsibilities: Job Summary Develop, prepare, interpret and monitor moderate-to-complex financial analyses, financial projections, financial modeling, and reports used by Executive management in decision-making. Acts as an expert resource to Decision Support Analyst I's providing guidance and support.
Essential Functions
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Supports Management's long- and short-term financial planning through analysis and evaluation of prospective business ventures, major capital investments and strategic planning through demonstrated application of critical thinking and problem solving skills. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized financial-oriented reports. Work with large amounts of data and see through the data and analyze it to find trends and patterns, and to help make both conclusions and recommendations for future efforts.
- Data Display and Reporting: Presents actionable data, including proforma and retrospective analysis, forecasting and trend analysis, cost analysis, labor productivity reporting to assist Management with informed decision making. Provides support to all phases of the annual operating budget developed including system-wide modeling.
- Provides key support to Service Line Leaders and performs ad-hoc analyses along with feasible recommendations for improvements based on interpretation of financial data. Continuously evaluates and improves Service Line reporting, including reporting against plan, and develops new ways of synthesizing data from multiple sources into clear and meaningful analysis. May also provide analytical support to annual rate filing and price setting process, to include data validation, cost analysis and other cost studies or analytical procedures as requested.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis.

Education
- Master's Degree in related field - Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in related field - Required
Experience
Two (2) to three (3) years of progressive analytical experience in decision support, financial analysis, reporting, or planning - Required Healthcare financial or operational analytics experience - Preferred Budgeting, forecasting, or service line reporting exposure - Preferred
