PYTHON AI/ML Engineer W2 ONLY - No C2C 18 Month Contract Hybrid in Chandler, AZ Position Overview Our client is seeking experienced Software Engineers to design and build endtoend intelligent automation solutions that optimize infrastructure and platform processes, not just business workflows. This role requires strong fullstack engineering depth, with a particular focus on Pythonbased development, agentic workflows, and AIdriven automation. This is not an RPAonly position - candidates must demonstrate real software engineering experience, API design expertise, and the ability to develop scalable, productiongrade automation frameworks. The team is especially interested in engineers with handson experience building agentic systems, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) server design and implementation, to orchestrate intelligent, adaptive workflows across platforms and services. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions using RPA, AI, and ML technologies * Build agentic workflows that orchestrate intelligent decisionmaking and automation across systems * Develop and maintain APIdriven, RESTful services to support automation platforms * Contribute to the design and implementation of MCP servers to enable advanced agent communication and coordination * Build fullstack automation components, including backend services, data integrations, and orchestration layers * Develop automations that optimize infrastructure and platform processes, not just business operations * Collaborate with stakeholders, platform teams, and process owners to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery * Support testing, validation, and production deployment of automation solutions * Participate in Agile development processes and adhere to SDLC best practices Required Qualifications * 5+ years of professional engineering experience * Deep expertise in Python for productiongrade development (required) * Strong experience in fullstack software engineering * Proficiency in one or more programming languages: * Python (required) * Java and/or C++ (strong plus) * Demonstrated experience building RESTful, APIdriven services * Strong SQL proficiency * Handson experience delivering endtoend intelligent automation workflows * Experience designing automation solutions that support infrastructure or platform optimization * Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field * Strong communication skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
