Facilities Division Internship: The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) was established in 1974 to better respond to the County's need for affordable housing. HOC is authorized to acquire, own, lease, and operate housing; to provide for the construction or renovation of housing; obtain financial assistance from any public or private source to assist its housing activities; and arrange for social services, resident services, and daycare. Job Description: The Facilites Division is seeking a reliable, handson, and motivated intern to support facilities maintenance operations across HOC communities. This role is ideal for students interested in facilities management, construction technology, engineering, property management, or trades-related fields. Interns gain practical experience working alongside skilled maintenance staff - including the Turnaround Team responsible for preparing units for new occupancy - to help ensure HOC properties remain safe, functional, and wellmaintained for residents. Responsibilities:
Education: Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Trades, Property Management, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
