This position serves as a senior-level supervisor and subject matter expert responsible for overseeing financial transactions, operations, and services within UCDH Accounts Payable. This role ensures accurate processing of financial activities, adherence to compliance standards, and efficient service delivery. The supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to a team of financial professionals engaged in accounts payable and other financial functions. This position requires analytical expertise, policy interpretation, and strong decision-making abilities to manage financial operations effectively.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Minimum of 6 years working within Accounts Payable
- Experience in the use of financial and ERP systems, e.g. Lawson
- Knowledge of GAAP theories and practices, relating to Accounts Payable
- Strong MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio. Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Excel, including (but not limited to) Pivots, Sumifs, Ifs, and Vlookups.

- Highly detailed and accurate with the ability to investigate transactions through multiple financial systems.

- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of PC office tools - Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Access, or similar software - to problem solving and report production.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CPA candidate desired
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy desired
- Minimum of 5 years in Supervisory role of 10+ staff members strongly preferred
- Experience with EDI desired

Department Overview
The UCDH Accounts Payable and Travel Management team supports the needs of UCDH departments with a range of services, including but not limited to vendor invoice payments, check requests and travel and entertainment expense processing and reimbursement.

- Overseeing department-wide financial operations, including travel and entertainment.
- Establishing and enforcing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Managing staff performance, development, and engagement to foster a high-functioning team.
- Acting as a key liaison between Accounts Payable and multiple Health System departments to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
