The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is seeking a highly strategic, organized, and communications savvy Chief of Staff to support the agency's Chief Communications Officer (CCO). This role sits at the center of one of the most dynamic communications operations in city government overseeing press, strategic communications, creative services, correspondence, and other functions. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or Preferred Skills -5+ years of experience in communications, government, public affairs, or a related field -Exceptional organizational and project management skills -Excellent writing and communication skills -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams and leadership levels Public Service Loan Forgiveness As a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
