Summary:

The Clinical Manager leads and oversees all operational aspects of the clinical department, including the delivery of high-quality clinical services and management of staffing needs across Medical Specialty Practices. This role ensures the coordination and optimization of clinical workflows to support efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care.

As a key leader, the Clinical Manager partners with providers, practice managers, and interdisciplinary teams to drive growth in outpatient clinical services, streamline referral processes, enhance patient flow, and maximize productivity across all practice locations. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving care delivery, advancing team performance, and contributing to a patient-centered, high-performing healthcare environment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification.
  3. Experience: Five years of experience in the nursing field. Supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Experience working with computers.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist providers. Knowledge of pharmacology is desirable. Knowledge of pharmacology is desirable.
  5. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and other health care providers.
  6. Analytical ability sufficient to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
  7. Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families, and to plan strategies for managing these situations when they arise.
  8. Analytical ability required for gathering and interpreting information necessary to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality
