What to Expect We areseekingan energetic, team-oriented people-person tobe responsible forthe performance of Quality Technicians and inspectors on various shifts for its next generation Energy flagship product. The Quality Supervisor will manage a team of Technicians to ensure they perform ata high levelwhile meeting the needs of the production floor and product quality.The individual will be responsible for quality assurance related metrics for their shift.The Quality Supervisor willbe responsible forperformance managing their team to generate the highest value from every employee whilemaintaininga high levelof technical ability. What You'll Do Delegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of Quality Technicians Provide coaching and training to Technicians Escalate quality issues with Management and Engineering as needed Drive improvements in quality operations Assist Quality Techniciansonin-line decision making Provide regular reports & updates to Quality team and Management Assistin management of material disposition What You'll Bring 2+ years of leadership experience, supervising a team of 10 or more employees Certification in a quality-related field such as six-sigma, TQM, or equivalent a plus Familiarity with measurement system analysis (physical measurement techniquesi.e.CMM, optical comparator) and analytical techniques like GD&T, Gage R&R Familiarity with dealing with Part Quality Issues and SORTs/SCARs Experience in fast paced manufacturing process Easilydemonstrateability to drive issues to root cause solutions inpreviousexperience Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
